About the forum…

This is our regular forum for people in Poole, Bournemouth and Christchurch who want to develop and improve their knowledge and understanding of being in business, being a good manager, being more effective, and being more productive in all aspects of business administration, marketing, HR, Health & Safety, financial management, etc. 

If you are thinking of joining us, please be advised that this is most definitely not a networking breakfast – this is a regular forum for members to bounce ideas and thoughts off each other, and to share best practice, tips, advice, suggestions, etc., And not just at these monthly face to face meetings but also using our online discussion facility.

The members …

The forum members are professionals in business and management with practical experience as well as knowledge and understanding backed up by accredited qualifications. Team members are members of the Chartered Management Institute, The Chartered Insitute of Personnel& Development, Institute of Learning & Development, Chartered Institute of Marketing, etc.

The forum welcomes anyone new to business and management who want to develop their knowledge and understanding, as well as those more experienced persons who want to share, support fellow members, be regarded as influencers, or who maybe just want to develop their own selves and businesses.

The Format …

We meet monthly for face-to-face working groups as well as connect with each other continuously on the online version of the forum.

Face to face meetings

  • 07:45 | Doors open, tea/coffee and pastries
  • 08:00 | Forum Session – Updates, discussion, sharing, signposting, advice and guidance, Q&A, recommendations
  • 10:00 | Closure followed by optional one-to-one follow-ups

Online

Every member has access to the online version of the forum, in which members can engage in chat dialogue with other members of the forum either on a 1-2-1 or group basis. This is far more efficient and productive than trying to use and manage emails for collaborating as a group.

The Cost

The cost per forum meeting is as follows:

£10.00 – First-time visitors
£15.00 – Registered Forum Members
£10.00 – Chartered Management Institute members
£7.50 – Business & Management Wessex premium or pro members
