PSN UK & Australia

Peer Support Mentoring is a unique opportunity to develop yourself personally and professionally and Sian is passionate about initiating and driving platforms that provide this confidential, non-judgemental meeting of like-minded professionals.

With over 15 years’ experience in leadership and management development, including 10 years running her own business, Sian has an in depth understanding of the skills, knowledge and best practices required for success and business growth. Peer Support Mentoring is the most cost effective and efficient way to build your skills and knowledge along with trusted respected and strategic business alliances.

Since 2008, supported by Business and Management Wessex and the Chartered Management Institute, Sian initiated, facilitated and end-to end-managed The Peer Support Network (Wessex) in answer to member demand for a space to work ‘on’ their businesses. This was swiftly followed by platforms for Women In Management and the first Men In Management. This has now evolved into The Peer Support Network UK (PSN UK) which provides for a rapidly growing network of business leaders with a strong understanding of the need and importance of collaboration for business growth and capacity building.

Sian is passionate about promoting these platforms as a fundamental requirement for business growth, as the pressure is on all businesses to achieve more with less, cost effectiveness is paramount to growth and Sian very much looks forward to working with you to develop these opportunities for your business.

As well as being the co-creator of the Peers Support Network, Sian is a member of the Chartered Management Institute and a professional member of Business & Management Wessex (B&MW)

George Rashbrook AvatarGeorge Rashbrook

Chair & Facilitator of PSN Bournemouth

George has been a business owner since 2009 and has been a dedicated member of the Peer Support Network for almost as long.

Coming from a background of working for large corporates, George found the transition to owning and managing a small business exhilarating but also fraught with challenges. He was initially invited by a professional contact to join one of PSNs monthly groups to meet other business owner and managers and benefit from their sharing of experience, expertise and perspectives. George found the experience so beneficial and enjoyable that before long he had progressed to facilitating his own group as well as being a founding member of the first Men in Management business action group in the Wessex area.

The reason George connected so strongly with the PSN ethos was the unique opportunity to speak about any business related issues in a truly confidential setting without fear of judgement. He has come to believe strongly that the sharing of ideas in this environment is one of the most effective ways of developing a running a healthy business, and to understand that we can all stand to learn from our peers regardless of their age, experience or the nature of their business.

George works as an Independent Financial Adviser and Pension Transfer Specialist from his offices in Bournemouth and Fareham. He balances running his business with being a single parent to two nearly-teenage children. In his spare time George is a keen walker and a live music fanatic.
